This ad hoc Study Group consisting of community members worked extensively together to comment on the draft NPS plan by offering a complete revision with “track changes” additions and deletions, including incorporating the key Management Concept section developed through the 1999 Partnership Strategy. Developed with funding from the State Office of History and Archaeology, Mike Loso worked with numerous interested stakeholders over the winter of 1998-1999 to develop this partnership proposal for management of the Kennecott Landmark, newly acquired by the NPS.
